Health
Or rather how healthy were people now/after they had GBS or CIDP compared to before.
The header chart shows a simple comparison between GBS and CIDP as a radar plot, so the further out the dots the higher the number. This and the chart below show the same information, just in different formats. I think that this is difficult to gauge as people get older they do get less able, just gradually and this is like a huge spike and recovery afterwards. So it will always be the opinion of the person with the illness and thus subjective.

What we can clearly see is that GBS sufferers are much more healthy than those with CIDP, as stated before this is entirely expected. Once again though, I would have presumed the numbers for GBS would be substantially higher? The startling thing for GBS is 40% of people stated they were 70% or 80% back to full health, with 17% saying they were 90% back and only 8% saying they recovered fully. The average is 77.5%.
For CIDP the highest numbers are between 30% & 50%, being - 15%, 12%, & 14% respectively, with 4% stating a return to full health. The average for CIDP is 46% which is very low!
A couple of final perspectives:

This male/female comparison show a couple of interesting spikes:
1. females with CIDP @30% way higher than males (and this continues through 40% and 50%).
2. males with both GBS and CIDP being higher than females from 70% to full health?

This very final image shows the different age ranges against how healthy they felt after recovering from GBS or CIDP,
The clear result from this graph is that the majority of people who recover to 70% right up to full health are in the under 18 (blue), 18 - 24 (red) and 25 - 34 (green) categories.
That in itself is not at all surprising as the younger people can recover quicker.
I couldn't do the same statistics splitting out GBS & CIDP due to not enough people for many of the categories, so the graph was meaningless.
