2021 - Retirement
I have decided to retire at 60.
My general health is getting gradually worse, my CIDP is just not improving and I was struggling more and more with work and seemed just to be surviving during the week to rest/recover at the weekends and then to go back to the daily grind. I decided that I would retire and focus on trying to get fitter, so I can enjoy life for as long as possible. Though I may get a voluntary job at some stage to keep my mind active.
One thing I have learned is:
Enjoy yourself whilst you can and do all those things you want to!
Or at least some of them - there always seems to be a reason for putting them off until later, well later may never come!
Basically don't put things off too long and make sure you have fun!
My wife has also retired and we were planning to go on a number of holidays together. As with everyone else Covid has got in the way.
